How to play
Force Prime Heroes is a fully on-chain game inspired by the Heroes of Might and Magic series. You need to explore the map with your hero, grow your army, defeat enemies, and kill the Bone Dragon or other bosses to win the map scenario. As part of the playtest, you will see about 10% of the final gameplay. Stay tuned for updates!
In the current version we use simplified combat system that automatically calculates the casualties. Despite its simplicity, it's also inspired by the HoMM game experience, so here are some general tips to succeed:
To reduce your casualties, have a bigger army
Hire ranged units to avoid casualties in battles against weak enemies
Don't attack enemies that are too strong
Control
Move the hero using the arrow keys or WASD keys
To interact with a building, bring the hero right up to it and press the arrow key again towards the building
Use drag and drop to scroll the map
Days and Weeks
One of the key elements of the game is the number of turns you make. In our game, they are known as "DAYS" and "WEEKS".
With the start of each new DAY:
Your movement points are restored
You receive your base income (100 per day + wealth bonus) and income from all owned properties
With the start of each new WEEK:
New units are appearing in all your buildings
The number of days it takes you to complete the map affects your final score (1000 points for each day less than the map limit). As soon as you run out of movement points, the day automatically starts over. However, you can manually begin a new day by pressing the "Next Day" button. For instance, you might want to do this to gain extra income and buy more units before embarking on an extended campaign.
Movement on the map
Every day you receive 200 movement points. Moving one square costs 10 points.
Each point of the hero's Speed increases the daily movement points by 20.
Gold
Gold is the primary in-game resource that can be spent on hiring units.
There are multiple ways to acquire gold:
Units
You can hire troops in barracks (unit towers). In each tower, there is a different type of unit.
Enemy units
Combat system
In the first phase of combat, ranged units on both sides deal damage based on their total Atk. Damage is distributed equally among unit stacks in the enemy army and inflicts casualties based on target's HP.
In the second phase of combat, the total Power of the armies is calculated and compared. If your Power is lower, you will lose; otherwise, you will win, but your army will suffer casualties. The percentage of dead units is calculated using the following formula:
Casualties in all phases of combat are rounded down to the nearest whole number.
Hero characteristics
Attack - each 1 point of the hero's attack increases Atk of all unit stacks by 8%
Defense - each 1 point of the hero's defense increases HP of all unit stacks by 10%
Speed - each 1 point of the hero's speed increases the daily movement points by 20
Wealth - each 1 point of the hero's wealth gives 100 gold daily
Note: Since unit stacks power is calculated as the geometric mean of Atk and HP, it is affected by both the hero's Attack and Defense
Heroes
The player can select one of the heroes before starting the map. The heroes differ from each other in starting characteristics and armies.
Hero Table
Hero Level-Up
For each battle won, the hero gains experience equal to the power of the defeated army. As the hero accumulates experience, they gain new levels, and with each level-up, one of the four characteristics can be increased.
Experience Table
Buildings
Win vs Lose
To win the scenario, you need to fulfill a specific condition, typically defeating the Bone Dragon - the strongest enemy on the map. However, other victory conditions are also possible:
Defeat a certain number of required enemies
Capture a certain number of required buildings
Accumulate a certain amount of gold
If you lose in any of the battles (lose your entire army), you lose.
You can change your nick on the leaderboard and start a new game in the PROFILE tab.
Score computation
For each battle won, you earn points equal to the power of the defeated army.
Each map also has a time limit for completion, usually 60 or 70 days. If you complete the map faster, you will receive 1000 points for each day remaining before the deadline.
Seasons
The life of the Force Prime Heroes game is divided into seasons. Each season includes:
Playable maps
Tournaments
Season Points Competition
Prize Pool
Here are the structure of the current season:
17 playable maps, unlocked progressively
5 campaign maps
12 tournament maps
week-long tournaments starting every Wednesday
2-hour blitz tournament starting every Monday and Thursday
a prize pool of 1000 STRK tokens distributed at the end of the season
There are three ways to earn Season Points:
Participate in map tournaments. Weekly tournaments start every Tuesday, and blitz tournaments take place every Monday and Thursday at 15:00 UTC.
Improve your high score on each tournament map. For every 3,000 score above 12,000, you will receive an additional 10 Season Points. So 12,000 score gets you 10 points, 15,000 gets you 20 points, 18,000 gets you 30 points, etc.
Complete campaign maps and fulfill special tasks on them. Each campaign map allows you to earn up to 150 Season Points.
Season Points for weekly tournaments
Season Points for blitz tournaments
Season Points for personal high score on tournament maps
Season Points for campaign maps
